To help mark World Patient Safety Day on 17 September, we’re highlighting our work to support safer care for people living with long-term conditions.
This year's theme, "Safe Care for Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs)," shines a spotlight on the need to reduce patient harm and improve safety for people receiving ongoing care for health conditions.
People living with noncommunicable diseases often require long-term treatment, regular monitoring and multiple medications, which can increase the risk of safety issues if care is not well coordinated.
