Patient and Public Involvement

Our public and patient leadership team work across all our programmes and projects to ensure that the voices of patients and public are heard and can be taken into consideration when making decisions about health and care transformation.

We bring patients, carers and communities together with health and social care providers, industry and researchers to make a real and lasting difference to health and social care in the East Midlands. This interaction and two-way conversation is commonly referred to as Patient and Public Involvement (PPI).

We offer guidance, advice, and bespoke service support for East Midlands healthcare organisations, partnerships and health companies – for example ‘how to’ guides, training, our ‘Public Face’ newsletter and access to a network of experienced patient and citizen leaders.
