We have listened to entrepreneurs, innovators, academics, and clinicians in the East Midlands, and have found that there is an emerging gap that limited support exists to turn innovative ideas into commercially viable solutions.
Our support addresses this challenge and provides access to a team of experts who have a successful track record in developing and commercialising new medical innovations for the benefit of patients and the health and care system.

Ignite is run by experts at Health Innovation East Midlands who understand the NHS, the challenges associated with delivering innovation into the health care system, how to commercialise these ideas and how to get them adopted and spread. The service offers practical advice and hands on support which means products, services and innovations can be implemented at speed.
Ignite also provides dedicated support and delivery for all funding streams, grants and competitions.

This could be an NHS worker who has developed a solution that can address current challenges, SMEs, corporates or sole traders - but is open to all.
We are based in the East Midlands, however, the support you will receive is not region specific.

Ignite forms a part of Health Innovation East Midlands’s development where we can offer bespoke services to support health innovations no matter where they are in their development timeline. This service offers intensive support to bring innovations to the NHS market.
