iEthico is developing an AI powered digital platform to mitigate the increasing problem of global drug shortages to ensure optimal sourcing and distribution of existing supplies in a timely and logistically efficient manner.

The final product will not only ensure medicines supply in times of need but will ultimately address inequality in access to medicines and reduce the carbon footprint of pharmaceutical distribution and waste by improved efficiency.

Isla Health Ltd

isla

The Isla Health visual record is a web-based platform that utilises existing device hardware to capture images, videos, voice and text data and submits this to health practitioners.

Data is structured to immediately highlight changes in conditions – enabling wide scale remote management, early escalation and rapid review of health conditions. The platform is designed to be used in a wide range of settings from outside of the hospital such as schools right through to operating theatres. Clinicians, family members, carers and patients themselves can capture high quality photographs and videos using their own devices to highlight symptoms as well as complete monitoring questionnaires to track changes in health conditions.

TCC– CASEMIX

CASEMIX Corp LogoTCC-CASEMIX  brings a stepwise approach to managing theatre capacity. Using unique datasets, acquired real-time in surgery, TCC-CASEMIX  provides a simulation service allowing a speciality, hospital, trust or health systems/ Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) the ability to experiment with the factors that influence theatre productivity.

These introduce operational improvements which combined with their simulations open up the latent capacity that exists within the system. TCC-CASEMIX gives visibility to this capacity to enable ICSs to make informed decisions as to where to channel demand to those service providers that have the latent capacity to meet demand.

VOLMO Medical

volmo

VOLMO Medical has developed a proprietary medical image processing software ImageSim . This innovative platform is powered by artificial intelligence algorithms, and can automatically perform  image segmentation and diagnostics. Automatic segmentation of 3D medical images quickly allows the user to capture the region of interest and produce a computer model that can be 3D printed.

Currently, ImageSim’s diagnostics features include x-ray and ECG analysis and automatic diagnostics for knee osteoarthritis and cardiac arrhythmia. This year Volmo is aiming to further expand and improve its diagnostic platform and do a pilot study to evaluate ImageSim’s feasibility and performance in the healthcare environment.

Ash 2“VOLMO Medical is excited to be part of the 2022 EMDHA because it allows us to work with a highly talented group of people. Working with the EMDHA will allow us to fill in gaps in our competencies those are needed for successful deployment of new technologies within NHS and other healthcare providers in the UK.” Ash Harkara, Volmo, CEO
