Atrainability and Download Learning
It is a major challenge to deliver effective training in healthcare. Learners are time poor and under significant stress making it hard for them to find the time to engage with, and concentrate on, training. This is aligned with the fact that current training methods deliver poor knowledge retention, impacts knowledge application, and compromises the upskilling of staff, career progression and patient safety. Partnering with Download Learning Ltd, it applies the neuroscience of memory formation to learning, reducing learning times by between 75-96%. Increasing knowledge acquisition and retention which, in turn, improves knowledge application. The objective is to reduce the training time burden whilst improving learning outcomes and resultant behaviours.
“Atrainability and Download Learning are eagerly anticipating working with an enlightened team seeking to implement innovation, break down barriers and help the NHS move forward with safety management for the benefit of staff and patients alike.”

TCC– CASEMIX
TCC-CASEMIX brings a stepwise approach to managing theatre capacity. Using unique datasets, acquired real-time in surgery, TCC-CASEMIX provides a simulation service allowing a speciality, hospital, trust or health systems/ Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) the ability to experiment with the factors that influence theatre productivity.
These introduce operational improvements which combined with their simulations open up the latent capacity that exists within the system. TCC-CASEMIX gives visibility to this capacity to enable ICSs to make informed decisions as to where to channel demand to those service providers that have the latent capacity to meet demand.
“We consider ourselves to be very privileged to be part of the East Midlands Digital Health Accelerator and we are looking forwards very much to collaborating with our fellow innovators, and forging new relationships within the East Midlands Academic Health Network.” Matthew Bacon, TCC-CASEMIX, CEO
