Our partners at the Health Innovation Network and DigitalHealth.London Accelerator are hosting an Innovation Exchange event titled ‘Innovating in Urgent and Emergency Care’ on Tuesday 31 October, 9.30am to 12pm, at the KIA Oval Cricket Ground.

The event is open to East Midlands health and care providers who would like to learn more about possible solutions.

We know that the urgent and emergency care system is facing many challenges with increases in demand, people struggling to navigate the different urgent care services provided outside of hospital, often leading them to using emergency departments inappropriately and communication barriers between providers of urgent and emergency care.

This Innovation Exchange event will address these challenges and provide an opportunity to explore the solutions that could transform urgent and emergency care services.

This interactive event will generate discussions between commissioners, providers and innovators on the potential for new innovations to address the challenges and pressures on urgent and emergency care services. Hear from our guest speakers including:

  • Eileen Sutton - Head of Urgent and Emergency Care, Healthy London Partnership and London Regional IUC Lead, NHS England Healthy London Partnership
  • Stuart Crichton, Chief Clinical Information Officer - London Ambulance Service

You will have the opportunity to hear short pitches from 10 companies on their solution that has the potential to improve patient flow and patient experience, support clinical decision systems, predict emergency admissions and virtual models of care to name a few.
