career opportunities wallpaper 16We are seeking an Interim Commercial Director to lead our industry and enterprise support programmes for 6 months starting in May on an interim or consultant basis for a minimum of 3 days a week. Applications close 2 April 2018. This role will include leading EMAHSN’s industry and enterprise support programmes, implementation of new AHSN programmes in support of the Accelerated Access Review recommendations, support for EMAHSN Innovation Exchange and provision of commercial / contracts support across the organisation. If the assignment is full-time then it will also include support for a number of EMAHSN’s demonstrator programmes. The successful candidate will be supported by and line manage the EMAHSN Industry and Enterprise team, current two direct reports plus contracted resources.
The opportunity will be of particular interest to:

  • Senior commercial business development or marketing managers from healthcare, MedTech or pharmaceutical organisation wishing to apply their commercial experience and expertise whilst gaining first-hand experience of the operation of the NHS and social care sector
  • Senior commercial managers within public or private innovation organisations or agencies (e.g. Innovate UK, Innovation Hubs, Business Incubators, etc)
  • senior commercial managers within NHS provider or commissioning organisations
  • senior commercial managers or similar within other AHSNs or NHSE/NHSI
