We are looking for a Knowledge Translation and Evaluation Specialist with the confidence and knowledge to conduct evidence reviews (SPARKLERS) and implementation and evaluation activities within the East Midlands Academic Health Sciences Network (EMAHSN). The role combines academic knowledge and expertise, with the proven capacity to engage and work collaboratively with NHS and other service providers and commissioners, from senior executives to frontline clinicians. The broad remit is to support and facilitate the translation of knowledge and evidence into improved delivery of high quality care, through co-development and implementation and evaluation support.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience of working across organisational boundaries to make a real difference to the outcomes and experience of patients in the East Midlands. Reporting to the Implementation and Evaluation Manager, you will be joining a flexible, positive, “can do” team.

This post is offered on a fixed term or secondment basis to the end of our current licence period, which is the 31st March 2018 either on a full-time or part-time basis. NHS England has indicated its intention to relicense AHSNs for a further five years and the process for doing so is currently being considered.
