Details
Published: 30 June 2014
An East Midlands company has won a top award at the annual Medilink Innovation Day awards.
Daventry-based B&V Group were winners of the 'Working with the NHS' category which was sponsored by the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network.
The innovative company provides technology, equipment, products, services and training to healthcare and water treatment sectors.
Runners up in the category were Leicester-based Renfrew Group and Savience which is based at Towcester.
EMAHSN Managing Director Rachel Munton congratulated all of the finalists. "The NHS faces major issues to meet the increasing demand for services and growing financial pressures, and innovation and collaboration are central to overcoming these challenges," she said.
"Our region has an excellent reputation for innovation and healthcare and this is evidenced by the high quality of the entries for the Medilink awards - congratulations to all of the shortlisted companies and in particular to the winners, B&V Group Ltd."
