Our annual report for 2013-2014 has been published, and provides a snapshot of our work over the past year to transform the health of our 4.5m East Midlands residents and stimulate wealth creation.

The report focuses on our work with partners both regionally and nationally, and showcases just a few of of our transformational projects, including stroke rehabilitation.

"Our acheivements during our first year are notable," said EMAHSN Managing Director Rachel Munton. "There are significant health issues facing our region and we have set about addressing these in collaboration with our partner organisations from health, academia and social care."

EMAHSN Independent Chair Martin Hindle said: "We set ourselves ambitious targets to deliver our remit to improve health outcomes - and it has been a year of great progress that has laid down firm foundations.

"We are determind to continue to build on this progress over the year ahead, delivering better health outcomes by adopting proven research and evidence at pace and scale, and by champioining and building collaboration and supporting enterprise and investment."
