Midlands NHS and public sector organisations can now apply for up to £20,000 in funding to support the deployment of innovative digital health solutions from the 2026 Grow Digital Health Midlands cohort.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Sunday 27 September. Applications must be made via our Awardforce competition platform here.

 What is Grow Digital Health Midlands and what innovations are eligible?

This enabling fund opportunity is exclusive to the nine digital health innovations that are part of the 2026 Grow Digital Health Midlands cohort. More information about these innovations is available on our website.

Grow Digital Health Midlands is a collaborative programme run by Health Innovation East Midlands and Health Innovation West Midlands, supporting innovators to scale technologies that address major challenges within healthcare.

The innovations on the programme focus on:

  • Releasing time to care and supporting our workforce
  • Increasing productivity through:
    • Did not attend (DNA) identification, easy rescheduling and cancellations
    • Demand and capacity planning
    • Intelligent rostering and demand prediction
  • Enabling patient self-management in the community
  • Building capacity for neighbourhood health and bringing care closer to home
