HIEM Head of Medicines Safety Programme Delivery, Gill Gookey is presenting two sessions at the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors Conference in Nottingham this week.

Gill, who is a Pharmacist and a Chartered Human Factors Specialist will be presenting at the event on how Human Factors was used to develop a national medicines safety improvement programme for the NHS, using techniques and tools such as Appreciative Inquiry, SEIPS, Accimap and interviews and surveys.
In a separate session, she will speak to delegates about how subsequently, as programme lead, she used Human Factors to design personas for the programme to enable quality improvement work.
