East Midlands NHS and care organisations can now apply for funding of up to £25,000 to support the deployment of innovations that improve productivity across the health and care system.

 The productivity innovation fund will support the deployment of digital or Medtech solutions within health and care organisations that can:

• Accelerate and improve processes, freeing time for optimal patient care
• Support and empower patients on their care journey
• Improve access and coordination across care settings

Expressions of interest are now open, with applications closing on Wednesday 16 October 2025.

To be eligible, submissions must come from an East Midlands NHS organisation and focus on new and novel innovations that are unlikely to progress without funding support.

The innovation fund launch follows a recent Innovation Exchange event, which highlighted productivity focused solutions from a wide range of innovators.
