The first Pitch Your Product: Medtech event, hosted in Derby in collaboration with Pennine Healthcare has selected three pioneering companies to receive a tailored package of support from expert partners.

At the event, eighteen innovators each delivered a 2-minute pitch to our expert panel of key stakeholders, with the top three winning access to the support package.

Congratulations to:

💡 ExpHand Prosthetics - A healthcare engineering company designing and manufacturing 3D printed upper limb prosthetics for children.
💡 Heads Up Medical Solutions Ltd (Neuroguard) - A reusable device, revolutionising traumatic brain injury care in the pre-hospital setting.  
💡 HER2 IQ (Rebecca Allsopp, University of Leicester)) - A faster, more precise HER2 test that cuts cost, reduces delays and improves cancer treatment decisions.

As part of the prize each will have access to expert support and services from the following:

💡 LFH Regulatory Limited - A 4-hour consultation to define the optimal regulatory pathway.
💡 ABHI - 6 months of complimentary membership.
💡 Luach Consulting Group - A place on the Value Based Procurement Course.
💡 Pennine Healthcare - Access to the Pennine HQ, specialist expertise, tailored departmental mentoring, and support on refining their value proposition with a streamlined route to market.
💡 Health Innovation East Midlands - Tailored guidance, including access to the NHS and relevant clinical expertise.

The event also featured interactive workshops from speakers within the medtech landscape.
