We’re proud to announce we have been shortlisted as a finalist at the HSJ Patient Safety Awards 2025 in two categories:
Best Use of Integrated Care and Partnership Working in Patient Safety - A joint project with Live Well With Pain (LWWP), Joined Up Care Derbyshire, University of Durham, St George's University Hospital & United Hospitals Birmingham that encourages the use of more self-care skills to reduce the harm from opioids for people living with chronic non cancer pain.
Nursing-led Patient Safety Initiative of the Year – A joint project with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust to reduce incidences of self-harm in an acute inpatient female setting.
Organised by the Health Service Journal (HSJ), the Patient Safety Awards celebrate the teams and individuals going above and beyond to protect patients from harm, reduce risks, and embed a culture of safety across the UK healthcare sector.
This year’s awards ceremony will take place on 15 September 2025 at Manchester Central, bringing together hundreds of healthcare professionals from across the country. Winners will be announced during a prestigious evening celebration following the HSJ Patient Safety Congress.
