The region’s most innovative and impactful healthtech and life sciences companies were recognised at the Medilink Midlands Business Awards 2025, held at the Grand Station in Wolverhampton on Thursday night (May 8).

Organised by Medilink Midlands, the awards brought together industry leaders, clinicians, academics, and investors to celebrate organisations driving innovation, improving patient outcomes, and delivering economic growth.

Health Innovation East Midlands has been a proud supporter of the awards for many years, this year presenting the Delivering Innovation into Health & Care Award with neighbouring HIN Health Innovation West Midlands. Congratulations to the winner of the category VUIT Data Labs - who have created a resource for NHS, pharma, and MedTech organisations, to bring England's population data and provider health data together effectively to improve outcomes for the populations they serve.
