The Health Innovation Network and The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) are hosting a webinar on 3 June for NHS organisations and health systems, to highlight opportunities to partner with industry to tackle local system challenges and unlock new funding opportunities.

This session is for people working across the NHS and will provide practical insights showing how collaborating with industry can accelerate transformative outcomes, improve patient access to cutting edge treatments and help secure additional resources.

The event will highlight a successful collaboration between Health Innovation Manchester and pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly & Company (Lilly UK), who are working together with local health and care partners to address the challenge of obesity in Greater Manchester.

The webinar will provide advice and practical steps for NHS organisations and systems to seek collaborations to tackle local health priorities – building on recent guidance published by NHS Confederation and the ABPI: ‘Accelerating transformation: how to develop effective NHS-industry partnerships’.
