An exciting opportunity has arisen at Health Innovation East Midlands (HIEM) to join our Commercial team as a Commercial Project Officer. A key role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to work across the East Midlands and nationally as part of the Health Innovation Network.

HIEM is one of 15 Health Innovation networks across England operating as the innovation arm of the NHS. We’re looking for a passionate individual to join our commercial team supporting healthcare innovators. 

The post holder will provide effective support for our industry and innovator focused activities. The role acts as a key interface between HIEM and Regional (and relevant wider UK based) life sciences and healthcare commercial companies and social enterprises.

This role will be appealing to those with account/relationship management expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing partnerships and relationships with innovators
• Assisting in the development of the HIEM innovator and industry support and commercial activities, working closely with the Commercial Manager and Commercial Director
• Supporting the development and delivery of HIEM innovator programmes and innovators.

We‘re looking for the ideal candidate who is:

• Skilled at data analysis and the reporting of impacts
• Organised and able to work under direction
• Passionate and adaptable dependent on the needs of various HIEM stakeholders and programmes.
