Health and care innovators can apply for our 2024 Digital Health Accelerator (DHA) programme until Friday 8th December.
The programme invites innovators to bring forward their digital solutions to address some of the most pressing challenges within the NHS and Care systems, including NHS waiting lists and the promotion of self-care in the community.
Those selected to join the programme will benefit from a customized support package, including masterclass sessions, individualised coaching, and the invaluable chance to present their innovations directly to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
The application window runs from 13th November to midday on Friday, 8th December 2023, to submit your proposals through the dedicated online application portal. This is an opportunity for digital health start-ups to access bespoke support for their product.

The East Midlands DHA has a history of assisting companies to not only polish their value propositions but also achieve actual deployment and adoption within the East Midlands health and care system.
The programme's efficacy is best spoken through the success stories of its participants. Adam Beard, Managing Director & Co-Founder of Download Learning Ltd, shared his experience: “I confess that we entered the programme with limited expectations. Those expectations have been massively exceeded. HIEM have been highly supportive and excellent in their communication and organisation. They care about what they do, and what they do is to help you establish yourselves in the NHS. The most valuable outcome of the programme has been a pilot project that the HIEM team has facilitated with East Midlands Ambulance Service. This will provide us with a fully and independently evaluated pilot to hopefully be our springboard into the NHS. Gold dust!”
