AHSNs will be featuring the work of their Patient Safety Collaboratives (PSCs), delivering the national safety improvement programmes, at this year’s Patient Safety Congress.

The event – which is being held in person at Manchester Central and online, on 20/21 September – brings together teams from across the country with leaders, patients and innovators in patient safety.

We have been shortlisted for the Improving Safety in Medicines Management Award category for our Frailty Multidisciplinary Team Polypharmacy Project: optimising medicines for older adults.

Five other AHSNs have also been nominated, the winners will be announced at a ceremony on the evening of Monday 20 September.
