Managing director Nicole McGlennon said: “As the innovation arm of the NHS in the East Midlands, we have helped to transform patients’ lives and support health and care colleagues through an unprecedented year. The report highlights how this led to opportunities for innovation, particularly around digital technology and remote monitoring in hospitals, care homes and support for people in their own homes.
“I am immensely proud of how the EMAHSN responded over the past 12 months to support care givers in the region, it was a privilege to be able to add value to the wider health and care system.
“We are looking forward to continuing to work collaboratively with our AHSN colleagues around the country and with our local partners to develop new innovation programmes that continue to transform patients’ lives.”
