The East Midlands Patient Safety Collaborative (PSC) is looking for women and their partners who have used NHS maternity and neonatal services in the East Midlands, who would be happy to use their experiences to help improve local services.
The role will evolve as the programme develops and could include the following:
People from all communities and backgrounds are welcome and a small participation payment and out-of-pocket expenses will be offered, including a contribution towards child-care costs.
All meetings and activities are currently online or by phone, so participants will need access to these.
This public involvement invitation is part of the East Midlands PSC Maternity and Neonatal Safety Improvement Programme which is working to improve the safety and outcomes of maternity and neonatal care, by reducing variation and providing a high-quality healthcare experience for all women, and babies born in the East Midlands.
