Midlands Digital Health and Care Week was brought to you by the East Midlands and West Midlands Academic Health Science Networks (AHSN). This was a series of short, virtual sessions that took place between 12-16 October with an aim to share strategy information and in-depth insights and learnings from digital health and care projects from across the Midlands region.
The sessions were open to NHS, Social Care, Government and Local Authority colleagues.
Sessions included case studies and speakers from a range of health and care organisations using examples of their digital projects.

Building digital foundations
This session was focused on the barriers and enablers to digital innovation in the NHS and how the system can develop approaches that increase the chances of digital success, for example utilising cloud services.
