Supporting your quality improvement activities

Using the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Model for Improvement, we help quality improvement collaboratives to form. These involve groups of professionals coming together, either from within an organisation or across multiple organisations, to learn from and motivate each other to improve the quality of health services. They often use a structured approach, setting targets and undertaking rapid cycles of change.

Many of our team are also actively engaged as members of the Health Foundation Q community and HIEM is recognised as a Q community delivery partner.

Our expert teams offer training in these approaches and can tailor these evidence-based methodologies to suit the environment your teams work in. Contact us to discuss this further.

Quality improvement is about giving the people closest to issues affecting care quality the time, permission, skills and resources they need to solve them. It involves a systematic and coordinated approach to solving a problem using specific methods and tools with the aim of bringing about a measurable improvement.
