Data analysis and evaluation to support transformation and decision-making

Our Analytics and Evaluation Service (AES) team are experts in making data and analytics digestible, accessible, and insightful for health and care organisations. Their mission is to help make sense of data to enable and inform decision-making, supporting Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and their constituent organisations, as well as innovators, to understand the value and impact of innovations in practice.

AES provides patient-centred analytics and expertise, supporting health systems in mapping patient pathways, identifying challenges, and understanding how innovation can change pathways.

The team can undertake benefits analysis, help develop suitable metrics and establish processes to monitor and measure change.

They help organisations make sense of their data, giving it purpose and supporting decision-making, ultimately delivering proven innovation with demonstrable benefits to patients and service users.

The team can help design and deliver evaluations that understand the impact of innovation in practice (often called ‘real-world’ evaluation) as well as provide advice on all matters relating to evaluation.

The AES team has a broad range of skills and extensive experience of health and care data, allowing them to provide high-quality insight to organisations and innovators.

The Benefits workshop revealed valuable insights into the diverse advantages of the S-Press, spanning organisation, patient centeredness, and strategy. Examining the connections and flow between systems and benefits clarified strengths, weaknesses, and the necessary steps for procurement and adoption in the NHS. Glen, the engaging session leader, provided external validation and consolidated our beliefs. A powerful experience.
