Helping health checks become easier to access

SISU Health helps people access comprehensive health checks around the country in places that are convenient, including workplaces, shopping areas and leisure facilities – supporting major NHS and government priorities such as cardiovascular disease detection and prevention.

The SISU Health platform combines state-of-the-art technology with user friendly digital interfaces to deliver comprehensive health checks and personalised health insights such as blood pressure, weight, CVD risk and lifestyle factors.

SISU Health Stations have been used to carry out over 5 million health checks around the world, detecting health risks in more than 1.75 million cases (35%).

We are proud to have supported SISU Health as members of the 2024 East Midlands Digital Health Accelerator and continued to do so as part of our alumni support programme in 2025.

We enabled the deployment of two SISU Health Stations in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, which are the first of their type to be available to the public in the East Midlands.

Impacts 2025-2026

The SISU machine in Boots in Nottingham city centre, between 9 December 2025 and 11 May 2026, has delivered 3,474 health checks:

15.4% of users recorded high blood pressure

777 health checks triggered a ‘call to action’, recommending pharmacist or GP intervention

620 users agreed to be referred to specialist lifestyle services including weight management, physical activity and smoking cessation
