DESCRIPTION:Feedback following the event was extremely positive\, with dele
 gates appreciating the opportunity to share learning and to hear about han
 ds-on experience of digital solutions.\nDigitising outpatients will play a
  significant part in the transformation of outpatients required to achieve
  the commitment stated in the NHS Long Term Plan\; to enable avoidance of 
 up to a third of face to face outpatient visits\, removing the need for 30
  million outpatient visits a year.\nThere are multiple opportunities to in
 troduce digital solutions that will contribute to the essential redesign.
 \nThis event showcased examples of successful digital solutions adopted by
  NHS organisations.\nOne such example is the EMAHSN collaboration with Not
 tingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) to deliver an Intelligent Dig
 ital Outpatients Solution Demonstrator aimed at appropriately reducing the
  number of outpatient attendances.\nThe Demonstrator will introduce two-wa
 y communication between patients and clinicians that will determine whethe
 r it is necessary to be seen in an outpatient clinic.\nOther examples of d
 igital innovations being adopted across the health systems will be shared 
 and there will be the opportunity for networking with colleagues addressin
 g common challenges as well as the companies they are working with. \nFind
